Grasshopper Jumped Out of His Skin !
Aly and I spotted this grasshopper emerging from his skin--and got these pics within minutes. You almost never catch them in the act. The shell was fully intact; all the little knobs and bits were still there, and the skin so translucent you could still see through it!
In the second shot, even the wing is visible, and the spines on its legs.
